Dorcas and Darrian are Principals at The Daily Huddle and lead the food service firm’s advisory services division for The Daily Huddle Cafes which are food service hubs that fit inside the current business model of the existing business structure. Together they have more than 30 years of experience helping large companies realize business benefits by adding value to the employee and customer experience through the lens of specific types of service, strategic staffing and partnerships.
Their focus areas include partnerships that enhance food and event experiences, succession strategy, food management infrastructure using digital technology, transformational leadership in service, Senior and Gen Z hiring and collaborative business in service execution. Prior to The Daily Huddle, they started parent company, Essential Catering Solutions, Inc., DBA Essential Catering Solutions, a custom catering and events concierge, over 6 years ago. As CEO and Vice-President & CFO for the Corporation, they have led the catering and event management service to nearly half million in gross revenue with only a quarter shortfall during and after the pandemic. Prior to starting Essential Catering Solutions, Inc, Dorcas worked in emergency and disaster planning and mass event execution. Darrian worked in insurance underwriting, and advance career placement and head hunting services, and currently owns an independent service firm. They both have been stewards over multiple multi-million dollar businesses. Darrian earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida and Dorcas earned a bachelors degree in communications from Florida Southern College also in Lakeland Florida and dual masters degrees, in management leadership and human resources management from Webster University, Saint Louis, Missouri.
